Silvia Rubio-Diaz has a diverse work experience starting in 2001. Silvia began their career as an Assistant Technician at Centro de recursos fitogenéticos, INIA in December 2001. Silvia then pursued a PhD at UAH from 2001 to 2005. Following that, Silvia worked as an Assistant Technician at Rothamsted Research for a brief period in 2006. Silvia then became a Postdoc Scientist at the same institution from August 2006 to February 2007. Afterward, they worked as a Postdoc Scientist at Genética, Universidad Miguel Hernández from February 2007 to February 2011. Silvia joined MoA Technology in November 2021 as a Laboratory Assistant and subsequently became a Research Technician from July 2022 to March 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Scientist at MoA Technology starting from March 2023.
Silvia Rubio-Diaz began their education in 1996 when they enrolled at the Universidad de Alcalá to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Silvia completed their undergraduate studies in 2000. Subsequently, Silvia continued their education at the same university and obtained a PhD in Plant Genetics in 2005.
In 2003, Silvia also attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid for a year, where they pursued a CAP degree in Biology and Geology.
After completing their PhD, Silvia pursued further studies and obtained a First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in 2004.
In terms of their professional development, Silvia acquired Qualified Teacher Status from the General Teaching Council of England, UK in 2006.
