Virginia Corless has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Virginia is currently the Chief Executive Officer of MoA Technology, a crop protection discovery company that focuses on sustainable herbicides. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Growth Officer and Director of Strategy and Business Development at Novihum Technologies, a clean tech start-up specializing in agricultural technology. Virginia also worked as a Strategy Consultant for Clean Tech & Innovative Technologies at Dr. Corless Consulting. Additionally, Virginia founded BeQuest Adventures, a company that creates historical costumes for children. Virginia has also worked in the field of environmental sustainability, serving as the Science & Development Manager at Sahara Forest Project and as an Energy Advisor at The Bellona Foundation. Virginia has also gained experience in policy making and research, having worked as a Congressional Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources and as a Postdoctoral researcher at The Cluster of Excellence for Fundamental Physics. Virginia has also been involved in academia, serving as an Undergraduate Physics Supervisor at the University of Cambridge and as an Adjunct Research Associate at the Science & Technology Policy Institute. Virginia Corless completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Astronomy at the University of Cambridge from 2005 to 2009.
