Douwe Dijkstra RT has extensive work experience in various roles related to treasury and corporate finance. Douwe founded Albatros Beheer and Management BV in 2005, where they served as the Founder, Director, and Owner. Douwe later worked as the Head of Treasury and Business Finance at Moba Group starting in 2018. Prior to that, they were the Interim Treasury Manager at Dümmen Orange from 2017 to 2019. Douwe also served as the Interim Group Treasurer at Barentz from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, they held roles such as Manager Treasury and Corporate Finance at Minejesa Power, Interim Group Treasurer at Teeuwissen Group, and Interim Treasury Consultant at CEVA Logistics and AGRO Merchants Group. Douwe also worked as the Interim Group Treasurer at EverZinc and the Interim Group Treasury Manager at CED – European claim experts.

Douwe Dijkstra RT has a diverse education history. Douwe first attended the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Post Graduate degree in Corporate Finance and Treasury Management. In 2013, they also completed a Master's degree in International Cash Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT).

Douwe Dijkstra RT then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from NCOI Opleidingen, which they completed between 2016 and 2018. Additionally, in 2013 and 2014, they studied Theology/Theological Studies at Charis Bible College.

Prior to these academic achievements, Douwe Dijkstra RT attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1973 to 1976, where they pursued studies in Economics.
