Alex Kautz

Alex Kautz started as an intern at the University of Minnesota in 2017 where they developed an interactive graphical user interface for an image-based rendering and relighting tool. Alex then worked as an intern at 1010data in 2019 where they developed a role-based access control system using Python. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Software Engineer for Microsoft where they developed software for the Windows Defender team focusing on Machine Learning DevOps. Currently, in 2023, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Mobi Systems.

Alex Kautz earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Rochester. Alex attended the university from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts certification from the same institution in May 2020.
