Ben Kazez

Ben Kazez is an accomplished professional in the fields of music, technology, and product development. As a cofounder of the Vocal Music Instrumentation Index since March 2020, Ben has made significant contributions to the realm of music technology. In parallel, Ben has been involved with Half Note Labs, focusing on product and engineering, where the work has been described as a "brilliantly simple game of precision hearing." Previous experience includes leadership as Head of Mobile Products at Expedia, Inc., and founding Mobiata, both roles receiving accolades for innovation. Ben also has a solid foundation in software engineering from positions at Ultralingua and Apple, where notable achievements in product design were recognized. Ben holds a Master of Music in Singing from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College.
