Jhoanir Torres

Jhoanir Torres has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jhoanir'smost recent position is as a Project Manager at Mobile Insight, which they started in May 2021. Before that, they worked as an Ambassador for Fedora Project, where they represented the organization and helped grow the contributor base. Prior to that, at Telefónica, they held the position of IT Project Manager and Software Development Administrator. Jhoanir also served as the Chief Product Officer at C&S Technology S.A. and as the President & CEO of Torres Technologies. Additionally, they worked at Huawei as a UNIX Team Leader and Operating Systems Specialist, and at Telefonica Movistar as a Unix Specialist. Jhoanir started their career at ONUVA as a Solutions Engineer, Senior Telecom-Infrastructure Analyst, and Infrastructure Analyst. Before that, they worked as a Systems Analyst at EL MUNDO IP.COM, C.A., and as a Developer at Total Server Solutions LLC. Throughout their career, Jhoanir has gained extensive experience in project management, software development, UNIX administration, and telecom-infrastructure analysis.

Jhoanir Torres attended the Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering. Jhoanir also obtained a certification in Digium-Certified Asterisk Professional (dCAP) from Digium in June 2009.
