Luke Mathiesen has a diverse range of work experience. Luke started their career at Bristol Volunteers for Development Abroad (BVDA) as a Volunteer from July 2012 to August 2012. Luke continued with BVDA as a Project Parent from October 2012 to September 2013. Luke then worked at Accenture as a Business Systems and Technology Analyst Consultant from April 2015 to September 2015. Following that, they interned at Reall - Real Equity for All as an Operations Intern from October 2015 to April 2016. Luke then founded Fairsole Uganda Limited, a social enterprise focused on employing disadvantaged young artisans and providing them with training and access to markets. Luke served as the Director and Founder of Fairsole Uganda Limited from June 2016 to February 2018. Currently, Luke is the Managing Director - Africa at Mobile Power, where they lead business operations in Africa, focusing on off-grid energy storage and distribution.
Luke Mathiesen attended the University of Bristol from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree with a focus on Engineering Mathematics. Prior to attending the university, Luke attended Eirias High School from 2008 to 2010. Luke completed their secondary education at St Gerards School from 2003 to 2008.
