Ritam Mukherjee

Ritam Mukherjee has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to present. Currently, they are serving as the Lead Data Engineer at Mobilewalla, a global mobile analytics data provider. In this role, they are responsible for utilizing time-based anonymized analysis of location and app usage to provide Nielsen-verified mobile audience insights. Ritam also developed and implemented a proprietary compression algorithm to store, access, and analyze massive amounts of data.

Prior to their current position, Ritam worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Mobilewalla from 2019 to 2020. Before that, they were a Senior Developer at Walmart Labs from 2018 to 2019, where they designed solutions, built workflows, and implemented data pipeline ingestion frameworks. Ritam was also involved in optimizing Spark code and resolving streaming bottlenecks in the execution environment.

From 2016 to 2018, Ritam served as a Technical Consultant at Deloitte, where they implemented real-time analytics using Apache Kafka and Spark Streaming. Ritam built custom Kafka consumers and worked on the development and validation of IVR files. Prior to Deloitte, Ritam worked as an Associate Consultant at Capgemini from 2014 to 2016, where they worked on various Big Data technologies and implemented Teradata-Hive data migration projects.

Ritam's early career includes a role as a System Engineer at Infosys from 2011 to 2013. Here, they worked on data warehousing technologies and was involved in the creation of shell scripts, PL/SQL stored procedures, and triggers for data curation. Ritam also published a KX paper on materialized views and triggers.

Ritam Mukherjee's education history includes obtaining a Nanodegree in Machine Learning Engineering from Udacity in 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from West Bengal University of Technology in Kolkata from 2007 to 2011.
