Ramon Sosongco has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ramon started their career in 2004 as a Caricature Artist and Supervisor at Kaman's Art Shoppes, Inc, where they created and sold hand-drawn caricature sketches at California's Great America. Ramon then worked as a Designer and Flash Animator at Google (formerly Slide, Inc) from 2010 to 2011, where they contributed to the development of the social networking game "SuperPoke Pets!". Ramon also worked as an Animator at Lolapps in 2011 and as a Lead Artist (Flash/2D Animation) at GSN from 2012 to 2016, where they provided animation and visual development for online casino and social games. Additionally, Ramon served as a Colorguard Instructor at Fremont Union High School District from 2008 to 2012, specializing in color guard instruction and training. Since 2005, Ramon has been working as a freelance Illustrator and Digital Animator, specializing in digital illustration, animation, Unity UI implementation, 3D modeling, and Unity VFX animation. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Technical Artist (Unity 2D/UI for mobile games) at MobilityWare, starting in 2017.
Ramon Sosongco attended the Academy of Art University from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a focus on Traditional Illustration. In addition to their degree, Ramon has also obtained certifications from Lynda.com. In October 2017, they completed the "Cert Prep: Unity Materials, Lighting, and Effects" course, and in January 2017, they completed the "Cert Prep: Unity User Interfaces and Animation" course.
