Zach Pond, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Zach is currently serving as the VP of Marketing at MobilityWare, where they lead a team of over 20 employees and oversees marketing and acquisition strategies for a portfolio of 20+ casual games. Zach is responsible for setting clear strategic vision, tailoring messaging to targeted audience segments, and achieving market share, sales growth, and profitability at scale.
Prior to their role at MobilityWare, Zach worked as the Director of Digital Marketing at Backflip Studios from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they held several positions at the Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Senior Product Manager, leading cross-functional efforts to create and align strategies for powerful game launches and driving long-term growth for franchise brands. Zach also managed multi-million dollar P&Ls and Rolling Forecasts for numerous titles within the WB Games Portfolio. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Product Manager/Product Marketing Manager, contributing to the definition, marketing, and maintenance of free-to-play mobile and social games.
Zach's work experience also includes roles at Disney Interactive Media Group as a Marketing Manager from 2010 to 2012, Electronic Arts as a New Platforms Marketing Manager and Product Manager from 2009 to 2010, Testmasters as a Marketing and Development Consultant from 2008 to 2009, Disney ABC Television Group as a Marketing Consultant in 2007, and Transamerica as a Mutual Funds Wholesaler from 2004 to 2006.
