Mohamed Fouad

Mohamed Fouad has extensive work experience in the field of iOS software engineering. In 2011, they started as a Web Developer at Planet360 before transitioning to a Mobile Software Engineer at Symbyo Technologies in 2011. At Symbyo Technologies, they focused on delivering high-quality iOS solutions and participated in the maintenance of legacy iOS applications.

From 2012 to 2013, Fouad worked as a Mobile/Web Software Engineer at ThePlanet (formerly Planet360) where they turned business ideas into tangible components of mobile/web applications. Mohamed also played a role in advising the team on mobile/web strategies and technologies.

In 2013, Fouad joined Arkony as both a Ping-Pong Master and Senior Ping-Pong Master. As a Senior Ping-Pong Master, they developed highly scalable APIs, wrote the web app, and designed the iOS client for the Maidan project. In their role as a Ping-Pong Master, they worked closely with designers on mockups and UI designs, implemented the iOS client for a real-time social network, and ensured proper integration with the backend.

Fouad then became an iOS Software Engineer at Eventtus from 2013 to 2015. During their time there, they helped lead the development of the Eventtus iOS application, worked with the Product team to enhance user experience and interactions, and maintained existing application features.

Following Eventtus, Fouad joined Rocket Internet SE in 2015 as a Senior iOS Software Engineer. Mohamed worked in an international team building mobile apps, analyzed and implemented product and API requirements, developed internal libraries and frameworks, conducted code reviews, collaborated with various departments, and contributed to testing and continuous integration efforts.

In 2017, Fouad became a Senior iOS Software Engineer at tajawal, where they continued to work on developing iOS applications until 2019.

In 2019, Fouad had a brief role as a Solutions Engineer at Branch before joining Mobimeo in 2019. At Mobimeo, they initially worked as a Senior iOS Software Engineer and later transitioned to the position of Staff iOS Engineer.

Throughout their career, Fouad has accumulated a wealth of experience in iOS software engineering, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality mobile applications.

Mohamed Fouad obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems from Assiut University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in the field of technology. In December 2022, they completed certifications in "Blockchain Programming in iOS Using Swift," "Ethical Hacking: Mobile Devices and Platforms," "Flutter: Part 05 Flutter and Dart Packages," and "Flutter: Part 09 Dart, Cupertino, and Widgets" from LinkedIn. In 2021, they completed certifications in "Agile Software Development: Remote Teams," "Building High-Performance Teams," "Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers," "Succeeding as a First-Time Tech Manager," "Tech Career Skills: Effective Technical Communication," "Tech Career Skills: Interviewing Developers," and "Tech Career Skills: Moving from Developer to Engineering Manager" from LinkedIn. Mohamed also obtained the certification in "API Test Automation with SoapUI" in February 2021 and completed certifications in "Learning Combine with Swift" and "SwiftUI Essential Training" in December 2020, all from LinkedIn.
