Who Are We Looking For?

Mobiz is hiring a Passionate Scrum Master to guide project teams for Agile and scrum framework values. Role will entail the guidance to the teams in understanding agile methodologies with maximization of team performance to deliver impeccable results for Mobiz and its clients.

Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide, coach and motivate the team on Scrum practices and principles.

  • Ensure the team follows the agreed-upon Agile practices and daily processes.

  • Oversee the accurate implementation of Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Sprint Reviews.

  • Use Jira as a primary tool to manage Scrum artifacts, track progress, and facilitate transparency in project statuses.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs and ensure that deliveries align with business goals.

  • Assist in identifying and resolving blockers that might interfere with team progress.

  • Foster a continuous learning environment, helping teams inspect and adapt.

  • Work cross-functionally to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and facilitate communication between teams.

  • Ensure clear communication and transparency to all stakeholders.

  • Track and report Scrum metrics like velocity and burn-down charts to stakeholders.

  • Guides the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services.

  • Coaches the Scrum team in self organization, cross functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.

  • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.

  • Facilitates and supports all scrum events including Sprint planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Development or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.

  • Expertise in Jira and its application in Agile projects.

  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, primarily Scrum.

  • Proven ability to guide teams in the efficient application of Agile practices.

  • Excellent facilitation, mentoring, and coaching skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Any Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, etc.) would be a plus.

Skills

  • Mastery over Jira and other agile tools.

  • Effective leadership and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Adept at facilitating meetings and Scrum ceremonies.

  • Ability to understand and articulate the business value of the work.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficient in promoting continuous improvement and driving team performance.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Team player with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality

Other

This is an in-office position at Islamabad, Pakistan and working hours will be overnight in PST.
