Kirpa Grewal

Kirpa Grewal currently serves as the Head of Grants and Funding Strategy at MOBY, a venture focused on combating microplastic pollution. Grewal is actively involved with VIRIDESCENT as a Hero Guide and holds the position of Ocean Youth Leader with the Sustainable Ocean Alliance, contributing to various marine conservation initiatives. Notable roles include Executive Board Member and NYC Chapter Founding Co-Chair of Women in Cleantech and Sustainability, engagement and database operations at UN Global Compact Network USA, and business development at Sustainable Brands. Educational qualifications include a Master of Environmental Science specializing in Hydrology and Water Security from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Further academic pursuits are ongoing at the University of California, Davis, and additional sustainability training has been undertaken through the County of San Mateo Office of Sustainability.
