William Roland Smith

William Roland Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. William Roland started their career in 2009 at UC Davis Evan's Lab as a Molecular and Cellular Biology Laboratory Assistant and worked there until 2011. In 2014, they gained experience in overseas marketing and sales at Shenzhen Skyworth Digital Technology Co., Ltd. William Roland then transitioned to Fluidigm Corporation in 2015, where they served as a Corporate Development Analyst until 2017. William then joined William Blair as an Equity Research Associate from 2017 to 2019. William Roland then moved to Rakuten Medical, where they served as an Associate Director of Corporate Business Development from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director of Business Development at 4D Molecular Therapeutics starting in 2021.
