Mark Drayer has over 13 years of professional experience in the engineering and design space. Mark began their career in 2009 as a UX Design Consultant at Miller Electric Mfg. Co. In 2010, they moved to Humanscale as a Design Engineer I and then Design Engineer II. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at OXO in various roles including Product Engineer, Engineering Team Lead - Tools and Gadgets, Senior Product Engineer, and Engineering Team Lead - Cooking, Baking, and Measuring. During their time at OXO, they launched over 130 products and managed cross-functional teams. In 2020, they joined Peloton Interactive as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Senior Hardware Lead, and Staff Hardware Lead (Chief Engineer and Product Line Architect of Connected Strength). Mark is the sole accountable Chief Engineer in the technical architecting, planning, and execution of Peloton's largest connected fitness NPI program, and an International Patent Application was filed in March 2022. In 2022, they will join Mockingbird as an Engineering Consultant.
Mark Drayer obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University between 2004 and 2008. Mark then went on to Northwestern University where they earned their Master of Science in Engineering Design & Innovation from 2008 to 2009.
