Daniel Pizzata

Daniel Pizzata has a wealth of experience in the tech and engineering industries. Daniel began their career in 2006 as a Researcher at Woodside Energy. In 2007, they became a Tutor at Curtin University. In 2010, they joined the Australian Department of Defence as an Electronics & Communications Engineer. During their time there, they led a team in the design and build of an autonomous vehicle. In 2012, they moved to RPDE as a Senior Software & Electronics Engineer, where they provided support for rapid product definition through to deployment using rapid prototyping techniques and agile methodology. In 2013, they became the CEO of D,LUX Apparel and a Program Manager at BAE Systems, where they led product design, prototype, build and integration on the Air Warfare Destroyer Class Ship as a private-sector contractor. In 2011, they joined The Gift Mansion as COO/CMO, where they led marketing, design and implementation and overhauled all external-facing aspects of the company. In 2014, they became an Advisor for WPN. and Founder & President of Modbot, where they raised 10MM+ USD, ran business development, product design, strategy and management and closed contracts with Siemens, Boeing, Denso, Magna and various Tier 1 manufacturing firms. Daniel grew the team to 18 people and established the first 1MM USD in bookings. In 2016, they became a Board Member of The Inside Academy, where they provide strategic guidance.

Daniel Pizzata has a diverse educational background. Daniel completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communications from Curtin University in 2008, a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Curtin University in 2008, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship & Marketing from Curtin University in 2004. In 2020, they completed a course in Machine Learning from Stanford University.
