Tyler Umansky

Tyler Umansky currently serves as Manager of Machine Learning at Model Medicines, a position held since June 2021, following roles as Machine Learning Engineer and Fellow within the same organization. Prior experience includes a Supply Chain Data Analyst Internship at Austal, where Tyler developed an application for generating statistical reports on buyer performance and tracking procurement times to enhance supply chain efficiency. As an Industrial Engineer Intern at Oceanside Glasstile, Tyler focused on standardizing and optimizing glass machinery processes. Additional internships include a Marketing Analyst position at Parker Hannifin, where Tyler created technical literature, and a Laboratory Internship at The Scripps Research Institute, where Tyler worked on a Protein Synthesis Project. Tyler Umansky holds a B.A. in Data Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and studied at The University of Auckland in 2019.
