Katherine (Kate) Columbus

Katherine (Kate) Columbus has a diverse background in the travel and education industries. Katherine (Kate) began their career in 2015 as an Activity Leader for EF Education First. Katherine (Kate) then worked for UCSB Sustainability, holding positions such as Communications and Outreach Intern, CSA Marketing Coordinator, and UCSB Gaucho Certified Farmers Market Intern until 2019. In 2019, they worked as a Language & Culture Assistant for the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, where they taught English instruction to more than 250 students, produced original online games, PowerPoints, and stories to reinforce vocabulary and grammar, and created presentations about American culture and classroom content. Also in 2019, they worked as a Sales Support Specialist for Eurobound. In 2020, they were a Recruiting Coordinator for Internet Brands. Katherine (Kate) currently works for MODERN ADVENTURE, where they are a Senior Trip Operations Manager, Trip Operations Manager, and Experience Associate.

Katherine (Kate) Columbus obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara in 2018, with a Professional Writing Minor in Business Communication. In 2021, they obtained a certification in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google.
