Danny Chang

Danny Chang, DVM, is currently the Lead Doctor at Modern Animal since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Veterinarian at Modern Animal from June 2022 to November 2022. Before joining Modern Animal, Danny worked at Banfield Pet Hospital as an Area Chief of Staff from April 2021 to March 2022, and as a Veterinarian from February 2019 to April 2021. Danny also gained valuable experience through various clinical externships at Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital, Animal Vision Care & Surgical Center, Bannockburn Veterinary Clinic, Animal Dermatology Center, and North Hollywood Animal Care Center between 2017 and 2018. Additionally, Danny worked at Tiger Party Australia, where they had roles in Sales, Customer Service, and Content Editing from January 2015 to December 2015.

Danny Chang, DVM earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Melbourne from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Health and Disease from the same university from 2012 to 2014. Danny also holds additional certifications, including Fear Free Certification from Fear Free, LLC in 2022, a USDA category 1 certification from the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) in April 2022, and a California Veterinary License from the California Veterinary Medical Board in 2019.
