Charles Allan

Charles Allan, P. Eng. is a seasoned mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in the energy and engineering sectors. Since February 2024, Charles has served as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Modern Hydrogen. Prior to this role, Charles worked at Northstar Downhole Specialists as a Mechanical Design Engineer from January 2017 to March 2024, and in various engineering capacities at CT Logics, Ambri, ACF Associates, dPoint Technologies Inc., Rocscience Inc., the University of Waterloo, and Natural Resources Canada, accumulating a diverse skill set that includes designing hydraulic motors, conducting thermal and mechanical testing, and developing advanced analysis tools. Charles holds a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, obtained between 2009 and 2014.
