Cristiano Koga

Cristiano Koga has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cristiano is currently the CEO & Board Director of MODERN Logistics, where they manage overall operations and sets the company's strategic direction. Cristiano is also a NACD Certified Director and Chapter Member at NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors). Cristiano has been a Committee Member at IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa, where they support the board of directors in overseeing corporate priorities and strategic projects.

Previously, Cristiano worked at FedEx, where they held various roles including Vice President at FedEx Express, Vice President at FedEx Logistics, and Managing Director. In these roles, they were responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the development and operation of the global business development organization. Cristiano also worked at Penske Logistics as a Regional Director for South America and at Panalpina as Chief Customer Officer, Board Member, Head of Business Development, and Latin America Tradelane Head. Cristiano was also a Board Member - Corporate Director at ABRETI. Earlier in their career, Cristiano worked at CSAV as an Executive Assistant to the EVP.

Cristiano Koga, NACD.DC, has a diverse education history focused on corporate directorship, governance, and international business. Cristiano obtained a Certificate in Global Business from Harvard Business School in 2021. In 2023, they pursued a Climate Governance Initiative at the University of Cambridge, specializing in Administration and Business. Cristiano also completed the NACD Accelerate program from the National Association of Corporate Directors, focusing on Corporate Directorship and Governance from 2021 to 2023. Furthermore, Koga received certifications such as the NACD Directorship Certification® and Directorship Profesionalism from NACD, as well as the Corporate Governance - Board Member Certification from the Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa (IBGC). Other educational achievements include attending conferences and obtaining post-graduate degrees in areas such as Business Logistics, Leadership, and General Management. In 2023, Koga is scheduled to pursue Leadership Essentials at the Institute of Directors (IoD) to further enhance their management and board leadership skills.
