Joseph Lyons

Joseph Lyons is the Founder and Director of Modern Tuition, established in October 2021 to provide 1-to-1 tuition services to families in the U.K. Previously, Joseph served as a Partnerships Consultant at Bespoke Mental Health, where collaboration with UCL Professor Roz Shafran focused on engaging NHS Trust psychological leads. An Assistant Editor for the Music Section at London Student from November 2017 to September 2021, Joseph maintained relationships with record labels and conducted interviews with notable artists. Joseph also taught Experimental Psychology at Oxford Royale Academy and contributed to the Black Dog Campaign at SANE, promoting discussions around depression. Additional experience includes writing for GQ Magazine and working as an Honorary Research Assistant at Great Ormond Street Hospital, contributing to mental health resources for children with epilepsy. Joseph holds a BSc in Psychology from UCL, completed in 2019.
