Matthew Sweeney

Matthew Sweeney is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Modern since June 2023. Previously, Matthew gained experience at the University of Iowa Recreation Services from August 2016 to August 2023 as an Outdoor Rental Center Mechanic and Attendant, collaborating with various groups and individuals to provide equipment recommendations and ensure the maintenance of rental items. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Sales Associate and Mechanic at Geoff's Bike and Ski from May 2017 to May 2023, assisting customers with product selections and resolving mechanical issues. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa, earned in December 2022.
