Satya Punyamurthula

Satya Punyamurthula currently serves as the Director of Global Regulatory Science CMC at Moderna, a position held since November 2024. Prior experience includes an Associate Director role for Regulatory Affairs CMC at Pfizer, as well as similar positions at Seagen and Emergent BioSolutions, where Satya held senior managerial and associate director roles in global regulatory affairs. Earlier career steps included a Manager position at Takeda and roles at Merck as a Senior Scientist and formulation scientist in Global Regulatory Affairs and Development. Satya's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Osmania University. Teaching assistant experience was also gained at the University of Mississippi, and internships were completed at Merck and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories.
