Esteban Elia

Esteban Elia is an experienced data science leader currently serving as Data Science Manager at MODO, where efforts focus on leveraging machine learning and AI to support strategic decision-making and enhance operations. Esteban also holds roles as a Learning Facilitator for the CTO Blended Certificate at MIT Professional Education and as a Coordinator and Teaching Assistant for the University of Chicago’s data science programs. Prior experience includes positions at Mercado Libre as a Senior Data Scientist, leading machine learning initiatives, and as Lead Data Scientist at Edenor, where advanced analytics were utilized in the energy sector. Esteban's strong educational background encompasses a Master in Data Science from Universidad Austral, a Bachelor of Science in Economics, a MicroMasters from MIT in Statistics and Data Science, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Belgrano.
