Kristine Newswanger has worked in a variety of roles since 1999. Kristine began their career as a Policy Analyst for the Governors Workforce Investment Board of Maryland in 1999. Kristine then worked as a Lobbyist for the National Governors Association in 2000, followed by a role as Director of Public Policy for the Maryland Center for Community Development in 2002. In 2003, they became the Director of Advocacy for The Lancaster Chamber. Since 2007, Kristine has been Managing Principal & Co-founder of Modo Design Group, as well as Co-founder of co-modo, an invitation only cooperative working space.
Kristine Newswanger received their Bachelor's degree in Social Work from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 1995. Kristine then went on to obtain their Master's degree in Nonprofit Management: Public Policy, Administration, & Planning from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997.
