Darryl Polite has a wealth of work experience in the IT industry. Darryl began their career in 2008 as an IT Consultant and Computer Repair Tech for Courtesy Mobile Computer Repair, LLC. In 2011, they were hired by Taleo (acquired by Oracle) as a Customer Support Analyst, where they provided setup and configuration support for Taleo Business Edition and related technologies, as well as efficient incident management. In 2012, they became a Taleo Subject Matter Expert at Oracle, and was responsible for collaborating with Product Management, Operations, and Development. Darryl then became the Website Branding Team Lead, and was responsible for coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing, and maintaining software applications. In the same year, they also became an Integration Implementation Specialist, where they authored, troubleshooted, and validated import/export scripts allowing bulk manipulation and extraction of data between integrated systems. In 2019, they were hired by SmashFly Technologies (acquired by Symphony Talent) as a Customer Success Manager, where they acted as a customer liaison and was responsible for owning multiple post-implementation customer escalations. In 2020, they became a Project Manager at Incentco LLC, and in 2022 they took on the same role at Modulus Data.
Darryl Polite's education history includes a High School Diploma from Edward H White High School, obtained between 1994 and 1998. Darryl then obtained a MECP Certification from Mobile Electronics Advanced Technologies between 1998 and 1999. From 1999 to 2000, they obtained an A+ Certification from CompUSA in the field of Computer Science. Darryl then obtained a Network + Certification from CompUSA in the field of System Administration between 2000 and 2001. Finally, between 2005 and 2009, they obtained an Elecrician Journeyman and Telecommunications from Northeast Florida Builders Association @ SJRCC in the field of Electrical. Additionally, Darryl Polite has obtained several certifications from Lynda.com, including Communicating Across Cultures, Improving Your Listening Skills, Managing Customer Expectations for Frontline Employees, and Critical Thinking. Darryl also holds A+ and Network+ certifications.
