Arie Ooms

Arie Ooms has extensive work experience in various roles within the logistics and supply chain industry. Arie started their career as a Logistics Manager at Gütterman Group, where they were responsible for procurement, production, and shipment planning. Arie then moved on to work at Ryder System, Inc., where they held multiple roles, including Senior Manager Engineering and Group Logistics Manager. During their time at Ryder, they led a team of account engineers to drive change and continuous improvement, performed various analyses, and implemented solutions for important automotive accounts. Arie also worked as the Director Logistics Americas at SENATOR International Freight Forwarding, where they developed customer solutions, managed projects, and drove cost savings through process improvements. Most recently, Arie joined ModusLink as the Director of Solutions Design.

Arie Ooms completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics (Distribution) from HAN University of Applied Sciences from 1988-1993. Arie then attended Pforzheim University from 1993-1994, studying Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management & German. Arie later obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management from 2001-2003.
