Ashwani Kumar

Ashwani Kumar is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in botany and life sciences. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at Pradaatmak Pvt Ltd since May 2023, Ashwani Kumar leads research initiatives across various fields, including biotechnology and environmental protection. As a Professor at Mody University of Science and Technology since August 2021, Ashwani Kumar continues to contribute to academia while previously holding the position of Professor Emeritus at the University of Rajasthan, where guidance was provided to PhD students, and consultancy was offered on significant World Bank and UNDP projects. With a remarkable tenure at the University of Rajasthan from 1969 to 2007, Ashwani Kumar held numerous leadership roles, including Head of the Department of Botany and significant directorial positions in life sciences and library services. Education includes a Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Rajasthan.
