Katelyn Kirsch

Katelyn Kirsch is an experienced quality engineer currently working at Moeller Aerospace since March 2023. Prior to this role, Katelyn served as a metallurgical supervisor at Federal Screw Works, overseeing metallurgical lab operations and engaging in processes such as PPAPs, FMEAs, and data analysis. Previous positions include metallurgical engineer at Huron Casting Corporate Services and materials engineer at Woodward, Inc. During an internship at Steel Dynamics, Inc., Katelyn gained hands-on experience in slag analysis and metallurgical processes. Katelyn also held a work study position at SDSM&T, assisting in various departmental tasks. Educationally, Katelyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from South Dakota Mines and a Master of Science in Project Management from Strayer University.
