Weidong Wu

Weidong Wu has worked as the Director at Research Institutes, TechBank Foods Group since April 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Asian Markets at MOFA Global starting in October 2014. From February 2002 to September 2014, they held the role of IT/Network Director at Minitube of America. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Minitube of America from January 2000 to February 2002. Weidong began their professional career as a Faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in September 1990, where they worked until December 2000.

Weidong Wu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a focus on Computer Science and Database, from Lake Land College in Madison, Wisconsin in 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1985 and 1990. Weidong'sPh.D. research encompassed studies in Plant Pathology, Poultry Science, Environmental Toxicology, and Nutrition. Additionally, in 1983, they completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Forest Pathology at the University of Toronto. In 1982, Weidong Wu pursued English studies at Beijing Language and Culture University, and they also briefly attended Northeastern Forestry University for studies in Forest Pathology. Lastly, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Agricultural studies, specializing in Forest Pest Management, from Nanjing Forestry University between 1977 and 1982.
