Eldon C. (Don) Blancher II is a highly experienced environmental scientist with a focus on coastal and ecological restoration. Currently serving as a Supervising Coastal Scientist at Moffatt & Nichol since January 2016, Blancher leads strategic business development and restoration services. Prior roles include Adjunct Associate Professor of Environmental Toxicology at the University of South Alabama, CEO of Sustainable Ecosystem Restoration, LLC, and Executive Director of GroundworkNOLA. Blancher's extensive background in academia includes positions as Assistant Professor at the University of South Alabama and The University of Alabama. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Zoology & Physiology from Louisiana State University.
