Kenn Boyd

Kenn Boyd possesses extensive experience in security and safety management, currently serving as Chief at Mohonk Mountain House since September 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing physical access and technical security for the property, as well as the personal security of management, staff, guests, and visitors. Previously, Kenn Boyd held several significant positions, including Assistant Chief at Mohonk and Senior School Security Officer at Hyde Park Central School District. Additionally, Kenn Boyd served as Vice Chair of the NRA National Pistol Committee, providing oversight on competition regulations, and was the National Matches Chief Referee, coordinating various ranges for shooting events. Expectations of ensuring safety were further demonstrated during a tenure at Smiley Brothers Inc. and a distinguished 32-year career in the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department, culminating as Fire Chief. Kenn Boyd's educational background includes multiple degrees in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Fire Science, and Police Science from institutions such as Marist College and Dutchess Community College.
