Hershel MacAulay

Hershel Macaulay is a Senior R&D Engineer at Mojave Energy Systems, Inc., focusing on developing a novel air conditioning product utilizing liquid desiccation technology to reduce US greenhouse emissions. Previously, Hershel contributed to cleantech advancements at PARC, a Xerox Company, and held the position of Lead Hardware Engineer at COR, where successful collaboration with external partners led to the launch of an at-home wellness-tracking device. Earlier roles included Senior R&D Engineer at Seventh Sense Biosystems, where devices for painless blood collection were developed, and Biomedical Systems Engineer at Alentic Microscience Inc., involved in the integration of advanced systems for blood counting. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Certificate in Biomedical Entrepreneurship from Dalhousie University, as well as a B.A.Sc in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
