Ron Marianetti

Distinguished Engineer at Mojo Vision

Ron Marianetti has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Ron began their career in 1981 as an Engineer at General Motors, where they designed and implemented a complete GMF Industrial Robot programming system. In 1986, they moved to Radius, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented the operating system software for the Radius Rocket multi-processor. In 1993, they joined Palm Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and served as the principle architect for PalmOS. Ron then moved to Handspring, Inc. in 1998 as a Principal Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented extensions to PalmOS that enabled Handspring's hot plug and play Springboard expansion card system. In 2005, they became a Software Architect at Numenta, Inc., where they were the principle architect for the company's cloud-based runtime engine. In 2013, they joined Pebble Tech as a Software Engineer, where they were the principal developer for Pebble Health and implemented the infrastructure and tools for capturing data for step and sleep algorithm refinements and the unit and integration test framework. In 2016, they became Co-founder and CTO of Klue (formerly Savor), which launched at Health 2.0. In 2018, they began working as a Principal Engineer at Mojo Vision Inc.

Ron Marianetti received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University in 1986. Ron then went on to pursue their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, which they completed in 1988.
