Zoe Cournia

Zoe Cournia is a distinguished researcher and co-founder of molab.ai, with a notable academic and professional journey in computational chemistry and drug design since 2023. Cournia is an Investigator at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens since 2009, specializing in computer-aided drug design, molecular modeling, and the structure-function relationships of biomolecules. As Executive Editor for the Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling since 2018, Cournia also founded Ingredio in 2017 and serves as an advisor for SciCo, emphasizing science communication and outreach. Cournia's academic tenure includes a pivotal role as a founding member of the Yale Postdoctoral Advisory Committee and a postdoctoral fellowship focused on anti-cancer agent discovery at Yale University.
