Alejandra Feliciano

Alejandra Feliciano, PhD, is a Landscape Design Associate Faculty in the Horticulture Department at Edmonds College, where responsibilities include teaching multiple courses and utilizing flipped classroom techniques to enhance student learning. Feliciano has experience managing projects as a Project Manager and Landscape Designer at Molbak's Garden + Home, overseeing numerous construction projects and design accounts. As a PhD candidate at Washington State University, research focused on quantitative modeling of species interactions in plant communities. Previous roles include founding The Zealous Thumb, serving as Plant Propagation Manager at The Daily Plant-It, and working as a teaching assistant and landscape designer in various capacities. Educational background includes a PhD in Horticulture and a Master of Science in Horticulture from Iowa State University, along with a Bachelor of Architecture from the same institution.
