Sergiu Botnariuc

Sergiu Botnariuc has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry. Sergiu started their career in 2000 as a Senior Product Manager at Savings Bank Moldova. Sergiu then worked at BC Mobiasbanca SA, IF Development Capital Corporation, where they held roles such as Head of Deposits Direction and Head of Retail Products Section. Sergiu also worked at BC Mobiasbanca SA, Group Societe Generale, where they had various roles including Project Manager and Head of Credit Risk Monitoring Direction.

In 2017, Sergiu joined BC "Moldova-Agroindbank" S.A. as the Head of Credit Risk strategic administration Department. Sergiu later joined EcoFinance in 2018 as a Country Risk Director, responsible for creating and managing risk management framework in retail consumer loans.

In 2021, Sergiu worked at Payall Payment Systems, Inc. as a Compliance Officer, where they developed the Compliance function and played the role of Product Owner & Business Analyst. Sergiu also worked at Agile Partners as a KYC/KYB Team Lead.

Currently, Sergiu is working at Moldindconbank as the Head of Risk Modeling.

Sergiu Botnariuc received an executive certificate in Business Studies from Grenoble Graduate School of Business in 2007-2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Finance-Banks and Stock Exchanges from Academia de Studii Economice din Moldova, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Sergiu had previously attended colegiul financiar bancar from 1992 to 1995, focusing on activities in the banking sector.
