Mechanical Design Engineer at Molecular Devices

Steve Kennedy, P.Eng has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in mechanical engineering. Steve is currently working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Molecular Devices since 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at medPhoton GmbH from 2020 to 2022, where they conceptualized and developed novel solutions for the continuous improvement and introduction of new features to high-end medical devices. In this role, they primarily focused on designing and developing next-generation medical devices in the radiology field, including mobile, adaptive, and automated CT scanners. Steve also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Honeywell Process Solutions from 2017 to 2019, where they gained experience in mechanical engineering. Steve served as a Mechanical System Designer/Project Manager at Quantum Technology from 2015 to 2017, and as an Adjunct Professor of Mining at Universidad de Guanajuato - Departamento de Minas in 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Mining Engineer at Teck Resources Limited from 2008 to 2011 and as a Mining Engineering Intern at Elk Valley Coal in 2007. Steve also has experience in project management, having served as an APSC 100 Project Manager at Queen's University in 2007. Steve has strong expertise in mechanical engineering and has demonstrated the ability to design and develop innovative solutions in various fields.

Steve Kennedy, P.Eng pursued their high school education from 1999 to 2003 at St Peter's Secondary School. Following this, they attended Queen's University from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mining-Mechanical Engineering.
