Brent Dermott

Brent Dermott is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT engineering and solutions architecture. Currently serving as a Solutions Architect at Molex since April 2023, Brent previously held the position of Director of IT Engineering and Principal Engineer at Motorola Mobility from January 1993 to April 2023. In this role, Brent managed ETL developers and led the development of a Google Big Query data warehouse, along with business analytics and reporting design. Additionally, Brent managed product development for a chat bot platform that enabled business users to access real-time key performance indicators and general business information. Early career experience includes an internship and engineering co-op at Bendix Automotive, where Brent contributed to the engineering of the first anti-lock braking systems. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Technology from Purdue University, completed in 1992.
