Annysa Polanco

Director, Learning, Equity & Workplace Culture at MoMA

Annysa Polanco joined MoMA in 2022 as Director of Equity and Workplace Culture. She provides strategic direction and leadership on systems-level processes and culture toward an equitable and inclusive workplace. She designs and implements organizational change management frameworks, programming, and employee engagement plans, ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion are integrated into operations throughout the institution. Prior to joining the Museum, Polanco was the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Penguin Random House and, prior to that, she supported leadership and career development at the Posse Foundation. Annysa holds a master’s in social work from Boston College and a bachelor of science in human services from St. John’s University. She brings to MoMA her expertise in facilitation, organizational effectiveness, systemic and group analysis, talent management, and community building.
