Francis Gingras has a diverse and extensive work experience. Francis began their career as a Stagiaire en droit at Degrandpré Chait, where they assisted lawyers with court appearances and legal research. Francis then moved on to Gestion Univalor s.e.n.c. as a Legal Counsel, specializing in reviewing chain of title on patents and managing the patent portfolio.

In 2003, Gingras joined TELUS Health Solutions as a Senior Legal Counsel, responsible for drafting agreements, negotiations, and opinion writing in various areas such as Commercial, Information Technology, and Intellectual Property. Francis also assumed the role of Chief Privacy Officer on an interim basis, where they developed information privacy policies and procedures and ensured compliance with privacy laws.

After a successful tenure at TELUS, Gingras transitioned to become the Director of Legal Services at Moment Factory in June 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Legal Counsel at the same company from 2017 to 2021. Their expertise in legal matters contributed to Moment Factory's success in the field of technology and intellectual property.

Aside from their corporate experiences, Gingras also ventured into the art industry. In 2015, Francis took online courses at Sotheby's Institute of Art, focusing on Art History, Art Markets, and Investment in Arts. Additionally, Francis Gingras obtained the Quebec Bar certification in 2001 from Barreau du Québec.
