Jean-François Larouche has a strong background in the digital and interactive design field. Jean-Francois started their career at Conceptis Technologie as a Graphic Artist and Integrator before moving on to IC Axon as an Interface designer, Illustrator, and Motion designer. Jean-Francois then joined K3 Media as a Creation Director, where they were responsible for the design and artistic direction of print and interactive projects.

After their time at K3 Media, Jean-François Larouche worked at Radio Canada/CBC as an Interactive Graphic Designer and Art Director, overseeing the design and artistic direction of interactive projects. Jean-Francois then joined Sid Lee as an Interactive Art Director, where they provided creative concepts and oversaw the artistic direction of advertising communications, interactive, and design projects.

In 2011, Jean-François Larouche joined La Presse as the Director of the Interactive Design Team, where they focused on UX/UI and digital products. Currently, they hold the position of Head of the Interactive Department and Creative Director at Moment Factory, leading a team of developers and designers. Jean-Francois'svisionary leadership and contribution to merging technology with creativity have been instrumental in driving significant digital transformations and establishing new benchmarks for engaging and immersive digital experiences.

Jean-Francois Larouche has a diverse education history. In 2018, they completed the Mini-MBA Program at McGill University's Executive Institute. In 2015, they attended UXPA SanDiego for UX Design without obtaining a degree. From 2003 to 2007, they pursued a BAC in Graphic Design at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2002, they obtained a DEP in Internet et Multimédia from Cegep de Jonquière. Lastly, from 1998 to 2000, Jean-Francois completed an AEC in Arts et technologies informatisées at Collège d'Alma. Besides formal education, they also obtained a certification in Ennéagramme: Vers une meilleure connaissance de soi from Renée Cossette, Ph.D in 2013.
