Melissa Weigel has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Melissa started their career as a Co-founder and performance artist at Perpetual Productions in 2002. In the same year, they also worked as a Vj and Video Artist as a freelancer. In 2003, they joined Moment Factory as a Multi-Media Director and later took on the roles of Show Writer / Director and Creative Director. Melissa also worked independently as a Video/Performance artist, where they served as a Creator, performer, and curator. In 2004, they co-founded NEST Gallery and Artist Space, and actively contributed until 2007.
Melissa Weigel obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Fine Arts from Concordia University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003.
