Dave Ayers

Dave Ayers is a seasoned strategist and consultant with extensive experience in digital transformation and technology innovation. Currently serving as a Strategy Partner at Momenta since August 2022, Ayers advises on digital strategy and M&A, focusing on various markets including Energy and Manufacturing. As Lead Consultant at Emergent Properties since April 2022, Ayers provides consulting services to technology firms across various sectors, including Water technologies and Internet-of-Things. Prior roles include Vice President of Innovation Strategy & Partnerships at Xylem Inc., where enterprise-wide strategic planning and partnerships were established, and Vice President of Global Research & Development at Sensus, where leadership was provided for Smart grid product development. Ayers also held significant engineering leadership roles at Nortel and Alcatel-Lucent, where contributions included enhancing engineering capabilities and integrating processes across global teams. Ayers holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Carleton University, earned between 1977 and 1981.
