Behailu Dekeba

Behailu Dekeba is a seasoned Senior Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in developing advanced machine learning models and systems. Currently at momox, Behailu specializes in search, personalization, recommendation engines, MLOps, pricing models, and computer vision for fashion. Previously, as VP of Engineering at Kifiya Financial Technology PLC, Behailu led the engineering vision and strategy, focusing on technology components such as DevOps, blockchain, and IoT, while also building a machine learning-based credit scoring engine. Earlier roles at Excellerent Solutions and iCog Labs involved developing MLOps solutions and advanced computer vision models, including facial emotion recognition. Behailu holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Addis Ababa University.
