Miguel Angel Alba Acosta

Miguel Angel Alba Acosta is a Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in deep learning and MLOps. Currently at momox since April 2023, Miguel focuses on developing multi-task deep neural networks for fashion image attribution and optimizing large vision-language models. Previously, at Asaphus Vision GmbH from December 2018 to April 2023, Miguel contributed to eye blinking detection models and MLOps, with earlier work on convolutional neural networks for facial expression recognition. Miguel's research experience includes serving as an Assistant Research Scientist at Universidad Santo Tomás, where work centered on statistics and machine learning. Miguel holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Potsdam and a BSc in Statistics from Universidad Santo Tomás Colombia.
