Nikki Mahmood-Chee

Nikki Mahmood-Chee is an experienced professional in the music industry, currently serving as the Director at blackstar Asia since May 2020, overseeing operations across Southeast Asia, Greater China, Japan, and South Korea. As a Label Consultant for both Domino Recording Company and Mom + Pop Music since 2007 and 2019 respectively, Nikki represents prominent independent labels in the region. Previous roles include Marketing Director at Hostess Entertainment Unlimited from 2013 to 2019, where management of marketing campaigns for both international and Japanese artists was key. Additionally, Nikki has contributed to the Canadian Independent Music Association as the Asia Representative and has held marketing positions with Swat Enterprises Pte Ltd and Rock Records across various capacities starting from 1996.
