Walid Halty

Walid Halty is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the climate tech and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Monalee since July 2022, Walid leads efforts to promote home solar, storage, and EV charging solutions. Prior to this, Walid co-founded and served as CEO of Colossus, a company that was acquired by PX.com, and achieved significant success as Senior District Manager at Tesla, overseeing a sales team that generated over $120 million annually. Walid also co-founded Bright Planet Solar, contributing to its rise as a major residential solar installer in the U.S. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and studies at Harvard Extension School.
