Ian Lee has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Head of AML Supervision for both Bank and Non-Bank Sectors at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) since July 2015, overseeing AML/CFT supervision and representing MAS at FATF discussions on Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs). Previously, Ian held roles such as Head of AML Supervision II, Head of International Finance, and Team Lead in the Insurance Department at MAS, along with earlier positions in bond issuance and insurance supervision. Ian's career includes valuable secondments at Eastspring Investments and Prudential Assurance, as well as an internship at Aviva Asia. Ian holds an MSc in Finance from London Business School and a BBus in Actuarial Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, along with a Diploma in Actuarial Techniques from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
